Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his swearing-in as the President of Bangladesh.

In a congratulatory message to President Mirza Fakhrul, the Qatari Amir wished him success in discharging his responsibilities as head of state.

Sheikh Tamim also expressed hope that Bangladesh-Qatar relations would continue to strengthen and expand in the coming days.
