Six more children have died across the country with symptoms of measles in the past 24 hours, including four in Mymensingh.
During the period, 744 new cases were reported, according to the latest report of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released on Saturday.
According to the DGHS, 81,955 suspected measles patients have been admitted to hospitals during the period, while 78,287 have recovered and been discharged.
During the same 24-hour period, 45 new measles cases were laboratory-confirmed, raising the total number of confirmed infections to 11,594 since 15 March.
The DGHS said a total of 98,266 suspected measles cases have been recorded across the country between 15 March and 27 June.
The deaths of six children from suspected measles in the past 24 hours raised the total death toll to 615.
According to the health authorities, no deaths from laboratory-confirmed measles were reported during the last 24 hours. However, the cumulative number of confirmed measles deaths stood at 93 between 15 March and 27 June.
