A 23-member business delegation from different sectors will participate in the 10th China–South Asia Expo (CSAE) and the 30th China Kunming Import and Export Fair 2026, scheduled to be held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China from 11–16 June.

The Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) announced that the delegation, led by its President Md Khorshed Alam, will participate in the expo and the fair, said a press release.

The delegation comprises prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs representing Bangladesh’s key sectors, including textiles, ready-made garments (RMG) & textile, pharmaceuticals, leather, agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, trade, services and investment promotion.

The objective of the visit is to further strengthen Bangladesh–China trade and investment relations, facilitate greater business-to-business engagement, promote Bangladeshi products in the Chinese market and attract increased Chinese investment into Bangladesh.

They will be placed on expanding exports of textiles and garments, pharmaceuticals, leather and leather products, agro-based products and other value-added goods, thereby contributing to reducing the existing trade imbalance between the two friendly countries.

During the visit, the delegation will participate in the opening ceremony of the expo, the Bangladesh–China Trade & Investment Forum, high-level business meetings and networking sessions with Chinese enterprises and institutions.

BCCCI will also sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and promoting greater business collaboration between the private sectors of Bangladesh and China.

A proposed MoU with Bank of Huzhou Co Ltd is also under discussion.

BCCCI believes that this business delegation will create new opportunities for trade, investment and industrial cooperation, while further reinforcing the strategic economic partnership between Bangladesh and China.
