The second International Security Expo 2026 and Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo 2026 will open at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on 17 September.

The three-day international exhibitions, jointly organised by technology products and services provider i-Station Limited and the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), will continue until 19 September.

The expos will showcase the latest technologies and solutions in security, fire safety, workplace safety, emergency response, risk management and compliance with international standards and regulations.

According to the organisers, around 150 leading brands from 10 countries will participate in the event, while some 5,000 trade visitors are expected to attend.

The organisers said the exhibitions would provide a platform for local and international companies to exchange technologies, develop business connections and explore solutions for Bangladesh’s growing security and workplace safety sectors.

BCS President Mohammad Zahirul Islam said ensuring strong and modern security systems was crucial for a safe and technology-driven future as security risks were increasing alongside rapid technological development.

“Various local and international companies will showcase their latest technologies and innovative products at this exhibition. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn directly about new technologies and understand their applications and potential,” he said.

i-Station Managing Director Madhu Sudan Saha said the International Security Expo would feature surveillance and monitoring systems, cybersecurity, access control, biometric technology, security software, networking switches, digital vaults and other modern security equipment and solutions for both government and private-sector organisations.

He said the simultaneous Occupational Safety, Health & Fire Expo would showcase modern solutions for industrial and workplace safety.

The exhibitions will feature personal protective equipment (PPE), industrial safety equipment, fire detection and protection systems, emergency response solutions, risk management, workplace health and safety products, and technologies related to international safety and compliance standards.

The organisers said two seminars would also be held on security, workplace safety, technology and the future of the industrial sector.

They said the seminars would facilitate knowledge sharing, business networking and collaboration among technology and security experts, safety professionals and other stakeholders.
