The Local Government Division has suspended all types of tenders and procurement processes for government works until the necessary rules are framed under the Public Procurement (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, and a new rate schedule is published.
The directive was issued in a circular by the Administration-1 Branch of the Local Government Division under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives on Thursday.
