Jahangirnagar University (JU) will start its admission tests for first-year honours students of the 2025–26 academic session (55th batch) on December 21.
The information was confirmed by the university’s acting registrar, ABM Azizur Rahman, on Wednesday.
He said the detailed schedule for each unit has not yet been finalised. The university will decide the unit-wise test dates after reviewing the number of applicants and coordinating with the exam schedules of other public universities.
As in previous years, admission tests for each unit will be held in multiple shifts — morning and afternoon — to manage the large number of candidates.
University authorities said it is not feasible to hold all the tests on a single day due to limited seats and infrastructural limitations.
