The Ad-Din Foundation’s Executive Director Dr Sheikh Mohiuddin on Monday denied offering bribes to the health minister to stop the cancellation of the license of Ad-Din Hospital’s Moghbazar branch.

He made the remark while speaking at a press conference organised by the hospital at the Moghbazar branch.

Initially he refused to respond to journalists’ queries in this regard, and referred questions to Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain instead.

Later, Sheikh Mohiuddin said that if the health minister indeed made such remarks, he himself must prove it.

On Saturday, at an event the health minister said the hospital authorities followed him relentless, offering crores of takas in bribes to secure the hospital’s license. However, the minister had denied all the offers as he has no greed for money, he said.
