The government on Tuesday transferred Abdun Naser Khan, secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, to the Ministry of Industries in the same post, replacing Md Obaidur Rahman.
“The transfer order issued in the public interest will come into effect immediately,” according to a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration.
The notification said that Abdun Naser Khan, secretary (contractual) of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, has been appointed as the new industries secretary.
According to another notification, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the public administration ministry Jati Prue, Secretary Obaidur Rahman has been attached to the Ministry of Public Administration.
