People are continuing to leave Dhaka on Friday during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

Those who could not travel home before Eid due to work or lack of leave are now rushing to share the joy of Eid with their loved ones.

On Friday (29 May), passengers were seen waiting in front of various bus terminals and counters across the capital. They said they chose to travel on the second day of Eid to ensure a more comfortable journey, as the roads and highways remain relatively empty.

Many also said they celebrated Eid with their immediate families in Dhaka on the first day and are now travelling to visit other relatives and share the festive joy.

Meanwhile, besides boarding buses from designated stops, many passengers were also seen getting on buses from different road intersections while heading home.
