Prime Minister Tarique Rahman embarked on an unannounced drive through the capital on Thursday night, to inspect routine cleanliness activities of city authorities.
The PM left the Secretariat around 9:10pm, after finishing his tight work schedule, said his Deputy Press Secretary Md Sujauddoula (Sujon Mahmud).
The PM drove the car himself, and took Dhaka South City Corporation Administrator Md Shafiqul Islam Khan Milton by his side.
He first visited the Farmgate area, then the Parliament area, the Cantonment, Mohakhali, and Banani. Driving through Banani’s Chairman Bari area, Tarique returned to his home in Gulshan.
During the drive, the PM gave various instructions to the DSCC administrator.
The cars of the PM’s additional press secretary and personal assistant were in PM’s vehicle convoy.
