The Bangladesh Embassy in Abu Dhabi has launched an initiative to collect information from Bangladeshi expatriates in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) whose visas have recently been cancelled.
In a special notice issued on Friday, the embassy announced the initiative.
The embassy said it had recently received reports, through various channels, that the visas of some Bangladeshi expatriates had been cancelled. It added that it is closely monitoring the situation.
To build an accurate, reliable and up-to-date database, the embassy has requested affected Bangladeshis to submit relevant details about their visa cancellations.
The embassy has asked the affected expatriates to send their full names, passport details, specific information on the visa cancellation and other relevant particulars as soon as possible to its official email address: mission.abudhabi@mofa.gov.bd.
It said that further necessary steps would be taken based on the information received from the affected expatriates.
