It is a dream come true for Bangladeshi singers Shuvendu Das Shuvo and Sanzida Mahmood Nandita, as Oscar-winning Indian composer and singer AR Rahman shared their performance on his Instagram story.
The duo have been reimagining classic songs under their musical project, “Moji & Co.,” for the past year and a half. Their unique renditions have earned widespread appreciation from audiences, and now they have received recognition from one of the biggest names in the music industry.
Recently, Shuvo and Nandita released a fresh rendition of Rahman’s iconic song Saawariya. Impressed by their performance, the legendary musician shared the cover on his Instagram story, marking a significant milestone in their musical journey.
Expressing his excitement, Shuvo said, “I have been listening to AR Rahman’s songs since childhood. The person whose work has inspired me for years has watched our performance and shared it on social media. It’s an incredible feeling.”
Nandita also shared a screenshot of Rahman’s Instagram story on her social media accounts. Reflecting on the memorable moment, she wrote, “Am I dreaming? Someone pinch me please! This memory will inspire me for the rest of my life.”
