Joint Secretary of the Local Government Division Abul Khayer Mohammad Hafizullah Khan has been appointed Director General (DG) of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday night.
In a separate notification, the ministry transferred the incumbent PMO Director General Dr Ahmed Ullah to the Commerce Ministry as an additional secretary.
In another notification, Joint Secretary Md Hossain Shawkat was transferred from the post of director at the Khulna regional office of the Directorate of Technical Education and appointed Deputy Registrar General at the Office of the Registrar General, Birth and Death Registration.
Meanwhile, Joint Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Hossain, who was attached to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, was transferred to the post of member at the National Housing Authority.
