Renowned Bangladeshi author and researcher Prof Abul Kashem Fazlul Haq passed away on Sunday after suffering a cardiac arrest.
He breathed his last at noon, family members said.
His daughter-in-law, Razia Rahman, confirmed the news of his death.Kashem was widely respected for his contributions to Bangla literature, research and academia. His death marks the loss of a distinguished intellectual whose work made a significant impact on Bangladesh’s literary and scholarly community.
