The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sought bank account information of content creator Salman Mohammad Muqtadir.
The financial intelligence agency sent letters to all banks and financial institutions in the country on Wednesday, seeking details of accounts held in his name, according to officials of several banks who confirmed receiving the letters.
The BFIU letter identified Salman Mohammad Muqtadir, born on 9 August in 1993, and asked banks and financial institutions to provide information on his accounts, account-opening forms, Know Your Customer (KYC) documents and detailed transaction records.
The institutions have been instructed to submit the requested information to the BFIU within the stipulated timeframe.
