Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the Indian high commissioner congratulated Humaiun Kobir on his appointment as State Minister for Foreign Affairs.
The two sides discussed bilateral issues as well as regional and international matters, including the recently concluded 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The state minister underscored Bangladesh’s commitment to working with India in a forward-looking and mutually respectful manner on issues of mutual interest and for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
