The DMP Commissioner handed over awards to the best performers at the Monthly Crime Review Meeting for the month of May at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh in the capital.
Tejgaon Division was the best among the crime divisions of DMP in May while Mohammadpur Police Station was the best police station, said a press release of the DMP here today.
Zahid Hossain, Assistant Police Commissioner of Pallabi Zone, was the best among the assistant police commissioners.
Sub Inspector (SI) Md. Aminul Islam of Airport Police Station and SI Md. Belayet Hossain of Lalbagh Police Station were jointly selected as the best SIs.
Among the Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs), ASI Md. Aktaruzzaman Mondal Palash of Jatrabari Police Station and ASI Helal Uddin of Rampura Police Station were jointly awarded the best.
Also, SI Md. Parvez Ahmed of Mohammadpur Police Station, SI Md. Shafiqul Islam of Dakshinkhan Police Station and ASI Md. Rakibul Hasan of Mohammadpur Police Station were awarded the best warrant-issuing officer for the period from May 15, 2025 to June 15, 2025.
DB-Lalbagh Division was awarded the best among the intelligence departments.
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner of Lalbagh Zonal Team of DB-Lalbagh Division Md. Abdullah Al Mamun was selected as the best team leader.
Traffic-Wari Division was awarded the best among the traffic departments. 
Sergeant Kaiser Ahmed of Wari Traffic Zone was selected as the best traffic sergeant. Trainee Sub Inspectors (TSIs) Md. Mamunul Islam of Badda Traffic Zone was selected as the best TSI.
The monthly crime review meeting of DMP, moderated by Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Md. Faruk Hossain, was attended by Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Sarwar, Additional Police Commissioner (Admin) Faruk Ahmed, Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) S.N. Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional PoliceCommissioner (Logistics, Finance and Procurement) Hasan Md. Shawkat Ali, Additional Police Commissioner (CTTC) Md. Masud Karim, Joint Police Commissioners, Deputy Police Commissioners, Officers-in-Charge (OCs) of all DMP police stations and police officers of various ranks.
