Four more people have died from confirmed measles and measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while 917 new suspected and confirmed cases were reported during the period.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) control room disclosed the information in a press release sent on Saturday.
According to the release, 843 people were identified with measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of such patients to 163,105 since 15 March.
Meanwhile, 74 people were diagnosed with confirmed measles during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 19,641 since 15 March.
Since 15 March, a total of 143,214 patients with measles-like symptoms have been admitted to hospitals, while 137,921 have been discharged after recovery.
Three people died from measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths from such symptoms to 891 since 15 March 15.
Meanwhile, one person died from confirmed measles during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed measles deaths to 100 since 15 March.
