Three more children died with measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while 943 new suspected and confirmed measles cases were reported during the period.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the figures in a press release issued by its control room on Saturday.
According to the release, 886 people were identified with measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of such cases to 155,678 since 15 March.
As many as 57 confirmed measles cases were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 18,853 since 15 March.
A total of 136,257 people with measles-like symptoms were admitted to hospitals between 15 March and 29 August, while 131,264 patients were discharged after recovery during the period.
Three people died with measles-like symptoms in the past 24 hours, taking the total deaths among children with such symptoms to 864 since 15 March.
No one died of confirmed measles in the past 24 hours. The number of deaths from confirmed measles stood at 99 between March 15 and 29 August.
