Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will take part in three programmes on the day of Eid-ul-Azha on Thursday.
He will join the main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah in the capital at 7:30am, said Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.
Later, the prime minister will go to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar to visit the graves of his parents, martyred president Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, and offer prayers there.
Following the visit, he will return to his Gulshan residence.
In the afternoon, Tarique Rahman will attend the traditional Borokhana (feast) to be hosted by the armed forces at Dhaka Cantonment.
