Six people were seriously injured after a lift broke down at a residential building in a housing project for government officials and employees in Mirpur-1 of the capital on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at around 6:00am at Building No. 1 of the government officials’ and employees’ housing project west of Paikpara Ansar Camp.The injured were rescued and taken to the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), commonly known as Pongu Hospital, in Agargaon, according to the information available.
