State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has renounced his British citizenship, said Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md Asaduzzaman.
He also said there was no violation of the law in Kobir’s taking the oath as state minister.
The law minister made the remarks while responding to questions from journalists at the secretariat on Tuesday.
