Momshad Ali Khan has joined BAT Bangladesh as Head of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs -CORA effective from 01 October 2026. Momshad brings over two decades of distinguished experience across corporate affairs, public policy, government relations, regulatory strategy, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications, complemented by extensive senior leadership and general management exposure.
Prior to joining BAT Bangladesh, Momshad served as Director, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability – Bangladesh at The Coca-Cola Company, where he was a member of the Bangladesh Leadership Team. Previously, he was Head of Corporate and Fiscal Affairs at Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Bangladesh, providing strategic leadership across complex regulatory, fiscal and public policy matters. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade with Chevron Bangladesh, where he cultivated extensive expertise in government relations, public policy, stakeholder engagement and strategic issue management.
Across his career, Momshad has established a distinguished track record of navigating intricate regulatory and policy environments, orchestrating multifaceted stakeholder ecosystems, advancing strategic policy imperatives and shaping outcomes through high-impact advocacy, engagement and institutional dialogue. His experience reflects a sustained ability to align corporate priorities with evolving regulatory, governmental and societal expectations.
Momshad holds an MBA from the University of Dhaka and an Executive MBA from American International University-Bangladesh. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys swimming and cycling.
