PM hands job letters to family members of disappearance victims, July martyrs

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has handed out appointment letters to 74 family members of enforced disappearance and murder victims along with July Uprising martyrs.

The PM distributed the letters at an event at the Korobi Hall of Prime Minister’s Office in the capital’s Tejgaon area on Saturday noon.

During the event, PM’s Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon said, “Today we handed out appointment letters to 74 family members of those who were victims of enforced disappearances, murders and July Uprising killings. The PM personally distributed appointment letters to 10 of them.”

The recipients expressed gratitude towards the prime minister and demanded trial of those responsible for the crimes.

The event was moderated by Rumon, where Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani, PM’s Principal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar, PM’s Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M Saleh, Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony, Assistant Press Secretary Md Nazmul Haque Khan, other members of the press team and Amra BNP Poribar were present.
