Seven officials of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) holding the ranks of additional and assistant commissioners have been transferred.
The transfers were made through an order signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed on Monday.
According to the order, Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Al Amin Hossain, who had been transferred to the Detective Branch (Ramna zone), has been transferred to the Badda zone.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ehsanul Kamran Tanvir, who had been transferred to the Traffic Division (Tejgaon zone), has been transferred to the Lalbagh zone.
Assistant Commissioner Ziaul Haque Shah has been transferred to Patrol-Mohammadpur, while Assistant Commissioner Rakibul Hasan Sakib has been transferred to Patrol-Uttara East.
Assistant Commissioner Md Saifullah has been transferred to the Web-based Crime Investigation Division of Detective, Cyber and Special Crime (North).
Assistant Commissioner Md Habibur Rahman, previously posted at Patrol-Uttara East, has been transferred to Crime Command and Control Centre-3 of the Operations Division.
Assistant Police Commissioner Shahibul Islam of the Public Order Management Division has been transferred to the armoury of the Logistics Division.
The order also said the transfer order of Additional Deputy Commissioner Tania Sultana of the Traffic Division (Tejgaon), issued on 6 August, has been cancelled.
