US-Bangla Airlines has become the first airline to connect an aircraft to a boarding bridge at the new terminal of Cox’s Bazar Airport.
The milestone was achieved on Saturday, 17 October, when the airline’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft operating flight BS 145 used the boarding bridge. The airport authorities inaugurated the facility.
The boarding bridge allows passengers to board and disembark directly between the terminal building and the aircraft, making passenger movement more comfortable and improving access to modern airport services.
US-Bangla Airlines said it remained committed to providing improved services to passengers and continued to work towards ensuring safe, comfortable and seamless travel experiences.
The airline expects initiatives such as the introduction of the boarding bridge to play an important role in improving the quality of passenger services.
