Ambassador of South Korea to Bangladesh Kim Ji-Joon paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka on Thursday.
The South Korean envoy led a delegation during the meeting with the Bangladesh Army chief, said a statement from the Bangladesh Army.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings and discussed the longstanding friendly relations between Bangladesh and South Korea,
They also held discussions on bilateral defence cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
